“Over the course of the last year we have all experienced a lot of loss in different ways,” notes vocalist Zech Pluister. “Friendships fading, relationships ending, loss of family members. All of the songs on this release have something to do with wanting to be remembered, missing someone, and questioning the losses we’ve all been through in some way or another.”

Chicago pop-punk realists Knuckle Puck have hit us square in the feels all over again – this time it’s via the rousing video for their single, Pretense. The soaring track is taken from their debut full length, Copacetic, which was released last summer via Rise Records.
Speaking about the video, Knuckle Puck singer Joe Taylor says: “We went to Canada a few weeks ago to shoot this music video for Pretense with Miguel Barbosa and YEAH! Films. It was an incredible experience and the video turned out to be one of the favourites we’ve made so far. The past six months following Copacetic have been great ones and we’re so glad that so many fans are supporting us and this release. We’ll be touring in the States, Europe, and Australia throughout the rest of 2016, and we hope to see you there.”

Substream Magazine writes: “Lake County, Indiana’s Sudden Suspension make a hell of a lot of noise for just being three guys. Their new EP, There’s A Bigger Picture Here, is loaded with anthemic, emotional pop-punk… Sudden Suspension are a formidable power trio. Just listen to “Back Roads,” which bounces from tasteful, noodly clean guitar parts into a bounce-worthy chorus and back again.”
